Bill and Sondra Bechhoefer began collecting textiles in 1967 as Peace Corps volunteers in Tunisia. They also lived in Afghanistan and have traveled extensively in Turkey, enhancing their collection along the way. They have pieces from travels to other regions, including SE Asia. They are long time members of the IHBS and the Textile Museum. return to home page
